We have 5 teens in our permanent custody. These are children who do not live in a foster home, but mostly likely in a group residence. They have birthdays coming up (9/8 through 9/30). It would be great to present a gift card to them for their "special day." If you or your groups, e-mail buddies, neighbors, family, or friends would like to help with this need, please let me know ASAP. We are thinking gift cards form Wal-Mart or Target would have most anything the teens would like to pick out for their birthdays.
We will let them know it comes from a caring community partner. However, due to policy covering their confidentiality, we are not able to connect these children directly with sponsors.
