Saturday, August 16, 4:30 PM- until the end of the 4th inning: Braves wives will sell the autographed baseballs cloaked in brown paper bags from the time Turner Field gates open at 4:30 until the end of the 4th inning.
The Atlanta Braves wives will sell more than 750 autographed baseballs, cloaked in brown paper bags, Saturday, August 16, at Turner Field during the Braves Wives fifth annual "Brown Bag Bonanza" to benefit the Atlanta Braves Foundation and Camp Erin Atlanta. Braves fans can purchase the brown bags for a flat fee of $40 and enjoy the element of surprise as they find out whose autograph they have received when they open their mystery bag.
Camp Erin is a bereavement camp designed for children ages 6-17 who have experienced the death of a parent, friend or loved one. It is a weekend-long experience filled with traditional, fun, camp activities combined with grief education and emotional support -- facilitated by grief professionals and trained volunteers.
The Atlanta Braves Foundation is the non-profit arm of the Atlanta Braves that actively supports community organizations and their programs within the metro Atlanta area. Since its inception in 1992, the Atlanta Braves Foundation has provided support to thousands of metro Atlanta based organizations and has contributed more than 2.7 million dollars in financial assistance to the community.
